With my clients’ house sitting centrally within this large, steeply sloping plot, the drive was too narrow and the adjacent garden comprised steep, bare banks and patchy grass. It was crying out for rejuvenation.
The front of this property is now a delightful combination of terraces with lawned paths and lush, textural planting. Grasses provide movement and a range of low maintenance planting offers colour and structure. A gravel strip was widened the drive, anchored with a stabilization grid. My clients can now relax on their balcony and watch the evolving year-round vista.
