MY STORY
Based near Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, I specialize in working with clients in the Chilterns and outer London suburbs, who have the desire to invest in great design to create beautiful gardens to fit their lifestyle.
A once-loved garden may need an injection of vitality now that the family have grown up, or perhaps it is looking bare and distressed after building work. There may be bothersome areas which seem just too challenging to tackle.
I can inject new life, purpose and beauty into tired, unloved or awkward spaces, creating gardens which invite exploration and provide a sanctuary for relaxing, entertaining, playing with family or just pottering.
Graduating with Distinction from The Garden Design School in 2009, I combine the principles of great design with extensive horticultural knowledge and experience in all my designs. With my first career in finance, I apply organisational skills honed in that world to lead my clients on a clear and enjoyable path through the design process.
Trees and woodland planting are of special interest to me. Serving as honorary director of an estate management company, I have specific responsibility for the care of the estate’s many hundreds of trees and areas of woodland. I love to create beautiful, textural gardens amongst trees and have developed extensive knowledge of shade-loving plants.
My expertise lies in asking the right questions, listening to responses and developing designs for my clients which meet all their needs and hopefully exceed expectations.
